Questions

We’ve compiled a list of preliminary answers here and will update them as the day gets closer. If you have more questions, always feel free to reach out.

The Day

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm. Please plan to arrive by 5:00 so you have time to park and find a seat. The reception ends at 10:30 pm.

Is the wedding outside?

Partly. The ceremony is outside on the lawn overlooking Cayuta Lake. If it rains, we’ll move it under the clear-sided tent on the patio. Cocktail hour and dancing are on the covered patio, and dinner is inside the Inn’s banquet hall, which has air conditioning. You’re welcome to step inside at any point.

What is the dress code?

We ask that guests wear formal attire. We suggest suits for men, and floor-length or tea-length dresses for women. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us. One practical note: the ceremony is on the lawn, so you may be more comfortable in block heels or flats.

Guests & RSVP

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately, due to capacity limits at our venue, your invitation will name everyone we have saved a seat for.

When do we need to RSVP?

Invitations will go out in March 2027, and the RSVP deadline will be on them. You don’t need to do anything before then.

I have a dietary restriction, can you accommodate?

Yes. Please let us know when you RSVP. Our caterer, Word of Mouth, regularly handles vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy needs, and every dish at dinner will be labeled.

Getting There

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the Inn if you choose to drive.

How do I get to North Point Pavilion?

North Point Pavilion is inside Taughannock Falls State Park, on Cayuga Lake. The park’s address is 1740 Taughannock Blvd (Route 89), Trumansburg, NY 14886, about 10 minutes from Trumansburg and 20 minutes from downtown Ithaca. Heading north on Route 89, turn right into the first park entrance, where you can pay the $10 vehicle fee and park. Facing the lake from the parking lot, the pavilion is the large structure on the shore to your left. For directions straight to the pavilion: Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Is there parking at the welcome party?

Yes. North Point Pavilion is inside Taughannock Falls State Park. The park entry fee is $10 per vehicle, so if possible we encourage carpooling.

Will there be a shuttle?

Yes. We’re planning a shuttle from downtown Ithaca to the Inn before the ceremony and two trips back at the end of the night. See Travel & Stay for details; we’ll post pickup times closer to the wedding.

Where should I stay?

We aren’t holding a room block, so book whatever suits you. Our favorite hotels and inns are on the Travel & Stay page. If you want to use the shuttle, stay in downtown Ithaca.

We can’t wait to celebrate
